Hey everyone,

It's been a whole year now since we got Albany Open Arts started up we wanted to have a party to celebrate.  We've made some progress in our first year but with the release of the new website in the coming weeks and new venues opening up I think we'll be able to do a lot more to help people share their talents in the Albany area.  So whether you're a musician, painter, comic, or any kind of artist, we invite you to please come join us for our:

1-Year Anniversary Party at the Funplex Fun Park on Tuesday, August 10th, 7-10pm.

Featuring local musicians The Midnight Society, Ryan Legere, Brian Alvarado, The Late Shift, and Ashes of the Sun.  There's go-karts, mini-golf, bumber boats, batting cages, a rock climbing wall and more. There's even a little frozen yogurt place right next door!  It's like a little-kid heaven-on-earth but a lot of fun no matter what your age. Prices are also pretty affordable so bring your homies and come have some fun with us while enjoying some great local music.

The Funplex is just right over the river from downtown Albany, but for driving directions and more info, here's the details:
